Sunday race for life

HUNDREDS of women will be taking part in the Cancer Research UK's Race for Life in Alexandra Park, Hastings, on Sunday.

And they'll be in for a special treat when a group of hunky male cheerleaders make their debut appearance at the event to 'Give a Big Hand' to participants and their supporters.

NIVEA, associate sponsor of Cancer Research UK's Race for Life for the fifth year, has arranged for the group of male cheerleaders to tour 100 Race for Life events across the UK as part of its 'Give a Big Hand' campaign, which aims to raise an additional 27,000 for Cancer Research UK this year.

The cheerleaders will be there to support participants and encourage people to raise money for the charity by spending 2 on an inflatable 'Big Hand', with all profits going to Cancer Research UK.

The hunky cheerleaders will be wearing their inflatable 'Big Hands' at all race events to cheer participants on and show male supporters that they too can get involved by supporting those taking part in the race.

Available at selected races or at www.nivea.co.uk/raceforlife, NIVEA's 'Big Hands' cost only 2 with all profits going to Cancer Research UK's vital research work to beat cancer.

The event starts at 11am - tomorrow night don't miss the special slide show on this website.
