Sunny logo dawns for Bognor Regis

The yellow and two-tone blue design was created by Colin Clark to provide a modern identity for the town.

The website designer, of West Street, said: “I’m chuffed to bits and honoured at the thought my logo will be widely seen.

“The simplest logos are the most memorable ones and I hope that’s the case here.”

Mr Clark, 48, who has lived in Bognor most of his life, was asked to create the logo after town council officials saw a website he had created about the town.

Mayor Jim Brooks said: “This is a marvellous logo. It says all we want to say about Bognor.

“I hope it will be seen on car stickers, posters and at the various events which are held around the town.

“The logo will allow us to put our name out there and shows how proud we are of our town.”
