Superheroes create a super fundraiser in Littlehampton

SUPERHEROES, clowns and scrumptious snacks proved to be a winning combination at a free charity fun day held in Littlehampton.

To celebrate its first year in business, staff from Titan Self Storage, based at the Riverside Industrial Estate, hosted a special event to raise cash for Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice.

More than 50 people attended the afternoon, which was packed with plenty of fun for all the family.

Everything from a bouncy castle and children’s magician to a barbecue and balloon sculpture were available for visitors to enjoy.

Karen Wozniak, executive manager at Titan, said the day was a way for the company to say a big ‘thank-you’ to the community that had supported it.

She said: “We wanted to do something to thank the community for supporting us in our first year of business and as Chestnut Tree House is our chosen charity, we thought we could give something back by fundraising for them.”

The cash total is still being counted.
