Supermarket giant to open new premises in Horsham

Supermarket giant Sainsbury’s has confirmed it has plans to open a new store in Horsham.

A spokesperson for the supermarket said a Sainsbury’s Local store is being planned for Crawley Road.

Sainsbury’s Locals are designed to meet the everyday top up shopping needs of residents who live within walking distance of the store.

They offer a range of fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy products, bakery goods, drinks, snacks and other convenience products. They tend to trade from 7am to 11pm.

The store will be the second owned by Sainsbury’s in the town, in addition to the larger store in the town centre.

It is currently unknown when the store will open.
