TALL STORY: Tree with 1,800 festive lights
If your Christmas lights always get in a tangle, spare a thought for the team decorating the country's biggest growing Christman tree!
The lights went up on Monday on a gaint redwood tree at Wakehurst Place, Kew's country garden near Haywards Heath, West Sussex.
A team of specialist tree climbers rigged the 35-metre tall tree, which will be the centrepiece of Wakehurst's Christmas celebrations.
Two large creanes were brought in to help the operation and lift the 1,800 festive white lights into place.
