Taxi Home’s return trip to folk club

One of the most entertaining acts ever to grace the club’s stage, Taxi Home are the next local act set to play the Willows Folk Club in Arundel (Wednesday, August 17).

Club spokesman Chris Davis said: “Taxi Home are the stripped-down version of local band Big Yellow Taxi, an exciting act highly sought after in the south for concerts and private functions. The band comprises legendary Sussex showman Rick Willings, versatile performer Peter English and skilled musician Ian Smith.

“Taxi Home are famous for their brilliant musicianship, superb selection of material and wonderful vocal harmonies, and an evening with the band promises a blend of classic traditional and contemporary folksongs alongside old favourites from the 1960s and 70s, all delivered with top musicianship, stunning vocal harmonies and a healthy dose of great entertainment value!”
