Taxi rank plans for Bognor
INFORMAL talks have been held about creating an extra taxi rank in Bognor Regis town centre.
Arun District Council has asked taxi drivers, shop owners and West Sussex County Council highways officers about a new rank in Bedford Street.
The deadline for comments is next Monday for counciliors to discuss the matter next month.
An Arun spokeswoman said it would be convenient for shoppers coming out of Morrisons laden with bags.
It would answer the calls of taxi drivers over several years for another rank in the town.
