TEEN BOOZE SALES TEST
POLICE and Trading Standards officers conducted under-age test purchases for alcohol at off-licences in the Lewes area.
Eight premises were tested. None sold to the youth sent in for the trial.
Said PC Duncan Ellison: 'Following disappointing results at the end of last year, we regularly carry out these tests. It was very encouraging that not a single off-licence in Lewes sold alcohol to the youngster.'
