Teenage girl set upon by gang on way to town
A gang of teenagers attacked a 15-year-old girl and stole her mobile phone as she and her friend were walking in town.
The group of eight got into an altercation near the Clown pub in Russell Street at around 11pm last Friday before assaulting and kicking their victim.
One of the gang members then took the phone.
He was 6ft tall, skinny, and wore a black waterproof jacket style hoodie and grey jogging trousers.
A girl who was with him was 5ft 3ins tall, medium build, and wore blue jeans and a white hooded cropped jacket and had a small shoulder bag.
