Teenager's shock after Worthing sex assault

A TEENAGER was left "very distressed" after she was sexually assaulted.

The girl was walking along South Farm Road, Worthing, at 9.40pm on Saturday, January 24, when she was approached by a gang of four men who asked her for directions.

But Sergeant Ian Kerr of Worthing Police said: "As she started to tell them where to go, one of the men grabbed her arm and held her towards him and kissed her on the face.

"She was obviously very distressed.

"It was an unwanted sexual approach and we are treating it as sexual assault."

The offender is described as an Asian man, aged 20 to 30, around 5ft 7in to 5ft 8in tall, with long, black, wavy hair.
