Teen's car seized and crushed
AN UNDERAGE driver's car has been crushed after police received complaints from people living in Offham and the Landport Estate, Lewes.The 16-year-old had been driving carelessly and without supervision and was causing grave concern to a number of residents.
Police received complaints from a number of people living off The Drove in Offham after the underage boy was seen driving on the road and on a nearby field in an anti-social manner.
The vehicle was traced to the Landport Estate where the police community support officer Andy Ash confirmed residents had already complained about the boy's driving in the past.
The PCSO had also witnessed the car being driven in the same manner on an earlier occasion.
Soon after the car was seized and later crushed.
