Tell police of Pavilion car park hooligans, says Leader

REPORT it to the police. That is the advice of Rother District Council leader Cllr Carl Maynard in response to a question on anti-social behaviour in the De La Warr Pavilion car park.

The question was posed via the Ask The Leader slot on the www.rother.gov.uk website.

The questioner asked: "Could you tell me why the De La Warr Pavilion car park is allowed to be used as a play ground?

"We have skateboarders, bmx bikes, cars and mopeds racing up and down.

"Not only is it dangerous, it is also very disturbing especially late at night."

The leader said: "As with all public areas, behaviour that you consider to be anti-social needs to be reported to Sussex Police.

"We do not condone or encourage the use of car parks as play areas."
