The pigeon has landed at Northiam
Children at Northiam Primary school released carrier pigeons as part of a project on World War 1.
It was made possible by a resident in the village who brought along his carrier pigeons.
A spokesperson from the school said: “It was a great way for the children to learn.”
Northiam is holding events to mark the centenary of the Great War including planting poppies and holding a memorial service.
