The search is on for Littlehampton’s next Carnival Queen and Princesses

They will have the honour of representing their town not only on carnival day itself, July 13, but at other events and festivities both in Littlehampton and further afield during their time in the role.
And the three winners can also look forward to fabulous costumes and cash prizes.

The competition is open to girls aged 15-19 and living within a six-mile radius of Littlehampton. They must be available on carnival day, as well as for several functions throughout the year, including the carnival’s Christmas event, Littlehampton Town Show and Family Fun Day, in September, and Armed Forces’ Day, as well as visiting other carnivals to represent Littlehampton.
The Carnival Queen will receive a cheque for £250 and the Princesses will each receive a cheque for £150.
They will also be given designer ball gowns made in America and supplied by The Mousetrap, of Chichester, together with day wear for other occasions, and accessories, and will be loaned sportswear, too.
