Thieves target cars in Rye area
MOTORISTS are failing to heed police advice not to leave valuables in insecure vehicles with a number of thefts taking place in the Rye area.
Three stereos were stolen from insecure vehicles at Rye Harbour Road over the weekend.
A caravan at Rye Harbour was also targeted and had a number plate stolen.

Hide AdA bag was stolen from an insecure vehicle parked at Dogs Hill Road, Winchelsea Beach, during the afternoon of September 11.
There have also been recent vehicle break-ins at Rye with i-pads and a laptop stolen from a car at Hilders Cliff and a vehicle broken into at Ferry Road, with damage caused to the lock.
