Thoughtless parking
Action on wrongly parked vehicles has been urged by a councillor living in central Bognor Regis. Cllr Jacqueline Maconachie has written to the county council calling for it to tackle thoughtless motorists.
Cllr Mrs Maconachie, who lives in The Steyne, also used an Arun District Council meeting to state her case. Overnight parking left many roads around the town barely passable for emergency services vehicles and buses.
She complained: 'I really think the county council and the police have got to start doing something to make our urban environment less dangerous.'
