Tourism week: hotels join visitor centre

Tourism businesses around Bognor Regis joined with the town's visitor information centre to promote their attractions.

Staff at the Beachcroft Hotel in Felpham, Premier Inn in Shripney and Hayley's Corner and White Horse B and Bs in Felpham were among those taking part in British Tourism Week.

They were present at the centre, in Place St Maur, to tell its users about the accommodation and services they offer.

The exercise is also hoped to highlight the services available at the centre.

Norman Dingemans, Arun's councillor in charge of economic and cultural development, said: "Tourism plays a key role in Arun and, with more people expected to holiday at home this year, it is more important than ever that visitors have access to all the information they need."
