TRAFFIC: A283 partially blocked after accident involving motorcylist

The A283 near the A27 Shoreham Bypass junction is partially blocked after a collision involving two cars and a motorcyclist.

A fire crew from Shoreham was called to the scene at 2.02pm, according to a spokesperson from the West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.

A male patient was assessed and transferred to hospital, the spokesperson said.

The crew secured the road and left the scene – which is just north of the cement works – at 3.10pm, confirmed the spokesperson.
