Buses in Brighton and Hove back on the road after heavy snow saw service suspended

Brighton and Hove Buses suspended all its services last night (January 31) as heavy snow fell in the city.

But this morning (February 1) at 6.45am it said most services were back up and running.

The bus company said: "We are still experiencing some localised disruption, but are now able to run most services following last night’s weather. Delays may occur on all routes due to road conditions."

Last night, at 9.46pm, Brighton and Hove Buses said: "We regret all buses are being withdrawn from service due to the extreme weather, causing dangerous conditions on local roads and as requested by the police. We're sorry for the inconvenience caused and will get buses back out when it is safe to do so."
