Police attended an accident in Burgess Hill earlier today.

Officers received reports of the accident which happened on the B2039 London Road near St John’s Park at 4.30pm.

A Sussex Police spokesman said a black Ford Focus was reported to have come off the road.

Traffic reports say the accident has now been cleared and traffic has returned to normal.
