Travel reports showed there was slow traffic on A259 Worms Lane in both directions at the B2132 Yapton Road.
The temporary traffic lights were reportedly ‘stuck on red’ in the construction area.
The signal issue has been resolved and traffic has cleared, according to travel reports.
