A23 southbound closure: road open again after reports of crash near Bolney

The A23 southbound is open again this morning (Monday, November 28) after reports of a crash at about 8.30pm yesterday.

At 8.39pm on Sunday, November 27, Sussex Roads Police tweeted: “The A23 southbound at the junction with the A272 is shut. Please find an alternative route.”

Sussex Traffic Watch reported that the A23 southbound was closed between the A272 at Bolney and the A2300 at Hickstead following a collision. Is it unclear at this time whether anyone was injured.

AA Traffic News shows the road is now clear.
