A27 near Chichester closed after report of ‘overrunning roadworks’

There have been reports that the A27 near Chichester is closed this morning (Tuesday, July 14) due to ‘overrunning roadworks’.
AA Traffic News at www.theaa.com/route-planner/traffic-news shows very slow moving traffic between the Fontwell West Roundabout and the Boxgrove roundabout.
The alert on the live map said: “Road closed and queueing traffic due to overrunning roadworks on A27 Arundel Road Eastbound from The Street / Boxgrove (Tangmere Roundabout) to (Fontwell Services Roundabout). Congestion to the A285 Stane Street, and back to Crockerhill on the opposite side.”
