Bexhill road to be closed

A road in Bexhill will be closed later this month for roadworks to take place.

East Sussex Highways said parapet works need to be carried out in Sandhurst Lane.

The work will start on Monday, July 13 and continue for three weeks, it added.

Due to the nature of works, Sandhurst Lane will be closed to through traffic at the bridge 24 hours a day.

East Sussex Highways said traffic will be diverted via Sandhurst Lane, Barnhorn Road, Peartree Lane, Whydown Lane, Sandhurst Lane and vice versa during the three-week period.
