Police have launched an appeal following a collision between a child and a car last night (Friday, July 1).

The incident happened in Hove at around 9.10pm.
In a tweet, Sussex Police said: “We’re seeking witnesses after a white car and a child riding a scooter collided in New Church Road, at the junction with Pembroke Gardens, Hove, about 9.10pm last night.
“The car left the scene.
“Contact us if you saw it or captured it on dash cam, quoting serial 1418 of 01/07.”
