Cowfold crash victim named

A WOMAN who died in a collision on the A272 on Sunday 15 April has been identified.

Toni Harvey, 49, of The Street, Canterbury, Kent, was the passenger in a Vauxhall Astra which collided with an Audi at around 5pm. She was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital but sadly died a short time later.

The Audi driver, a 74-year-old man from Horsham, was taken to East Surrey Hospital with cuts and bruises.

The 45-year-old driver of the Vauxhall Astra, a man from Morden, Surrey, was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton suffering from serious, but non life-threatening injuries along with the two other passengers in the car - a 49-year-old woman from Morden and a 51-year-old man from Canterbury.
