Crash closes roads in Littlehampton

AN ACCIDENT in Littlehampton, this afternoon (Monday, September 26) has forced police to close roads and divert traffic.

Terminus Road has been partially closed both ways, following a collision near the railway station, between a black Seat Leon and a silver Vauxhall Astra, at approximately 2pm.

Traffic into Littlehampton, from the A259, is being diverted down River Road and back through Arundel Road, in Wick, with other road blocks in place at the junction between Franciscan Way and Arundel Road.

Although paramedics were at the scene, it is understood that nobody was seriously injured in the collision.

The road is expected to re-open in 45 minutes after debris from the crash has been cleared.
