Emergency road closure in Crowborough following report of fallen tree

East Sussex Highways has reported an emergency road closure in Crowborough this morning (Tuesday, May 19).
East Sussex Highways announced on X at 10am: “Hadlow Down Road, Crowborough, is currently closed due to a fallen tree in the carriageway. The road will be reopened once it is safe to do so. Thank you for your patience.”
