Firefighters remove eight inches of floodwater from Nuthurst home

Eight inches of floodwater was pumped from a Nuthurst home on Monday (May 26).

Fire crews were called to Broadwater Lane in Sedgewick Park at about 10.30pm.

The water was removed from the basement using a submersible pump, as the pump owned by the homeowners was broken.

Firefighters left the property just before 12am.
