Horse rescued from ditch in Fittleworth
A horse was hauled to rescue by three technical rescue unit officers after the animal became trapped in a ditch on Saturday (December 6).
The horse, 16 hands high, became stuck at about 4.30pm in a field off Bedham Lane, Fittleworth.
Officers rescued the animal using animal rescue and lifting equipment and it was left in the care of its owner and a vet.
