Lorry collides with car on road between Littlehampton and Worthing
The emergency services rushed to a collision between Littlehampton and Worthing.
A car collided with a lorry, at the Roundstone Bypass, on Thursday afternoon (April 23). It was reported around 12.45pm.
South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) said paramedics were called – by West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service – to ‘reports of a road traffic collision on the Roundstone roundabout’.
However, ambulance crews were ‘stood down prior to arrival’, as ‘no injuries were reported’, SECAmb said.

A spokesperson for the fire service added: "Two fire engines from East Preston and Littlehampton attended the scene, alongside a heavy rescue tender from Worthing.
"Upon arrival crews were faced with a road traffic collision involving one lorry and a car. Fortunately nobody was trapped in either of the vehicles.”
Fire crews ‘made the area safe’, before leaving the scene at 1.05pm.
AA Traffic News reported a partial road closure, whilst the incident was ongoing – with slow traffic in the area.
The road has since reopened.
