Traffic is slow and queuing from Whyke Roundabout, to Stockbridge Roundabout and along the A286 to Birdham.

RSPB Pagham Harbour warned beach-goers, tweeting: "Church Norton car park is completely full. Please do not attempt to go down the road leading to the car park. For alternative parking, please go to East Beach, Selsey or the Visitor Centre. Please do not park on the double yellow lines. The traffic wardens have been informed."
