Multi-vehicle crash in Crowborough follows collision near police headquarters in Lewes

A multiple-vehicle accident has been reported at Crowborough this afternoon (Saturday, November 21).

The crash was reported on Croft Road just before 4pm but traffic is said to be coping well.

There had also been reports of an accident near the Sussex Police Headquarters on Church Lane, Lewes, but this has now cleared.

Elsewhere, two vehicles were reportedly involved in a collision in Eastbourne on A2290 Lottbridge Drove at Birch Road (Birch Roundabout) at around 3.40pm.

A van has also been involved in a collision with a tree near Battle. According to traffic reports, the crash happened on A21 at Stream Lane. Traffic is said to be slow between Robertsbridge and Hastings.

In Brighton, there are delays of nine minutes and increasing on B2066 Western Road eastbound between Portland Avenue and B2122 Montpelier Road. The average speed is said to be ten mph.
