New pedestrian crossing proposed on the A272 in Petworth
A new signal controlled pedestrian crossing could be created on the A272 in Petworth to help improve connectivity.
West Sussex County Council is proposing to create the crossing on the A272 Tillington Road, east of the junction with Downview Road.
It would be one of a number of measures to improve connectivity for visitors and residents living south of the town to the bus stop serving Midhurst Rother College and to the recreational amenities of the sports ground and Petworth Deer Park, according to the council.
