Night closure on A21 at John’s Cross

The A21 will be closed from John’s Cross roundabout to the B2089 from 9pm to 5am tonight (Monday, August 10) for roadworks.

Residents in this area and anyone requiring access to Sedlescombe Golf Club and Hotel will need to be escorted in and out.

Others will have to follow the diversion routes displayed.

The works are part of a major update to the A21 by Highways England, East Sussex County Council and Balfour Beatty Mott MacDonald.

New speed limits will be introduced and the roads will be resurfaced in three places along the A21.
