No injuries after vehicle overturns on A27 near Patcham and Hollingbury

An overturned vehicle caused the A27 westbound to be closed near Patcham and Hollingbury yesterday afternoon (Saturday, July 9), Sussex Police have said.

Police said the incident happened just after 2.30pm.

Eddie Mitchell took a photo of what looked like a grey vehicle on its side with wood spilled onto the road.

A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “Police received a report that a vehicle had overturned on the A27 westbound near Hollingbury.

“The road was closed for a short time while the vehicle was recovered. No injuries.”
