'No serious injuries' after tractor and car collide outside Chichester

Firefighters and police officers dealt with a crash involving a car and a tractor in Funtington on Saturday afternoon (August 8).

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said crews were called to a collision in Hares Lane.

Speaking whilst the incident was ongoing, a fire service spokesperson said: "There are no serious injuries but the road will remain closed for the time being.

"Please avoid the area if at all possible."

The B2146 was blocked after the accident near The Avenue but the road reopened later on Saturday afternoon.
