Police helicopter called to Crawley

The National Police Air Service helicopter (NPAS) was called to Crawley this morning (Wednesday July 6).

A spokesman for NPAS said crews were called to help officers search for a missing person at 11.15am.

The team searched the area but were unable to locate the person.

Ground officers are continuing to search, the spokesman added.
