There has been a railroad crossing failure reported on the A259 at Pevensey Bay Station this afternoon (Boxing Day, December 26).

AA Traffic News said that the barriers are stuck up with the lights flashing.

Drivers and other people using the Wallsend Road are urged to approach the barriers with care.

AA Traffic News said that traffic is coping well at the moment.
