Serious collision in Ditchling, near Hassocks closes road

According to the AA, the incident in New Road in Ditchling, near Hassocks was first reported at 10.25am.
It said on its traffic bulletin: “Road closed due to serious crash on New Road both ways between A273 Brighton Road and Beacon Road. Between Ditchling and Pyecombe. Expect delays.”
Emergency services are at the scene.
