Slow traffic on A27 near Falmer following earlier report of object on road

Slow traffic has been reported on the A27 near Falmer this afternoon (Wednesday, April 22).
AA Traffic News at www.theaa.com/route-planner/traffic-news said the issue was first reported at 1.42pm.
The message on the live map said: “Queueing traffic due to earlier object on the road on A27 Lewes Road Eastbound near B2123 The Drove (Falmer / Rottingdean Junction). In the construction area. Restrictions for the obstruction have been lifted. Traffic was already slow here due to the roadworks.”
