Stalled horsebox on A23: reports say road is closed as horses need to be offloaded safely
There have been reports of a stalled horsebox on the A23 this morning (Saturday, August 12), according to AA Traffic News.

The AA said the incident was first reported at 8.51am and said the road is closed with queueing traffic. The incident is affecting the A23 Southbound from the A2300 (Burgess Hill Turn-Off) to the B2117 Brighton Road (Albourne Junction). AA Traffic News said: “The road is closed as the horses need to be offloaded safely.”
