Large potholes have been forming on busy roads across Sussex over the past few weeks thanks to the bad weather.
Roads deteriorate over time from constant use and the hot summer last year, followed by freezing weather in December, likely made the problem worse.
Temperatures are expected to plummet below zero again this week, according to the Met Office.

5. Midhurst

The is a large pothole on the left hand of the Harmers Hill, Newick, as drivers head up the hill towards the A272. The report came in Monday, January 9, saying: "This is a pothole that is increasing in size. Two large potholes in the middle of Chyngton Road, Seaford, were reported on Monday, January 9. The report said: "These potholes are on a busy road and are deteriorating every day. They are so large traffic is swerving to avoid them. One is opposite Alfriston Court." Photo: Google Street View
