Traffic disruptions and train delays are expected in West Sussex following a fault with a level crossing barrier.

A fault at the barriers at Angmering has caused delays to rail services.

A spokesperson for Southern Rail said: “Response teams are working to rectify the fault.

“Some services may be delayed by up to 10 minutes.

“This affects our services that run between Barnham, Littlehampton and Worthing."

Services are expected to be affected until 1pm, according to the rail service.

Traffic in surrounding areas has also been affected due to slow moving trains passing through the level crossings in Lyminster and Toddington.
