UPDATE: Horsham man hospitalised after Tower Hill accident

Firefighters and police were called to the scene in Tower Hill Road at around 7.30pm after a Honda Accord, travelling southbound, collided with a Volkswagon Polo heading in the opposite direction.

The Polo driver, a 30-year-old Horsham man, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital in Worthing.

His passenger, a 24-year-old woman from Burgess Hill, suffered shock. The diver of the Honda received slight injuries.

The road was closed until about 10.30pm whilst the scene was cleared.
