Washing machine catches fire in Steyning
Firefighters extinguished a blaze after a washing machine caught fire at a property in Steyning on Saturday (November 8).
The fire was discovered in the utility area of the Bowmans Close house at about 8.30am.
A carbon dioxide extinguisher was used by firefighters attending the incident, and the washing machine was removed from the home.
The fire was adjudged to be accidental.
