Witness appeal after A27 Boxgrove accident

Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist received serious injuries in a collision on the A27 at Boxgrove.

Shortly before 10.40pm on Saturday (October 6) a red Vauxhall Zafira travelling eastbound and a cyclist collided on the A27 Arundel Road near to Meadow Way.

The cyclist, a 35-year-old local man, received a serious head injury and was taken to St Richards Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Vauxhall, a man in his 30s from Worthing was not injured.

Anyone with information regarding the collision is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 1759 of 6/10.
