Tribute show is perfect way to say thanks

A song-and-dance tribute is being staged this weekend in memory of a former Bognor Regis man.

Sandra Whiteway has compiled the entertainment extravaganza to raise money for the Parkinson's Disease Society which helped her dad, Ken Constable.

The town centre resident passed away eight years ago, aged 65, suffering from the condition.

Mrs Whiteway (47), from Storrington, said: "I want to raise awareness of the society and to thank them for what they did for my father.

"The Worthing branch looked after him well. When my dad was ill, he would go into respite care which the society organised.

"The society was also good to me and is still in contact with me now."

Mrs Whiteway has used the showbusiness know-how which sees her run the All Star Kidz drama group in Bognor to put together the show.

It will take place at 7.30pm on Saturday at Littlehampton's Windmill Entertainment Centre. Tickets are 8.50 each (6.50 concessions).

Mrs Whiteway will be singing songs from My Fair Lady amid a host of different musical styles to suit all ages during the two-hour performance.

Also among those on stage will be young dancers showing their skills with tap and ballet routines.
