AN ELDERLY couple were the victims of a cruel distraction burglary in Dallington.

A man and two boys called at the couple’s home in South Lane at around 10am last Friday (August 10).

The trio managed to talk their way into the house and persuaded the couple, both aged in their late 80s, to show them to a lockup in their garden.
