Trust welcomes new consultant in respiritory medicine

Dr Leonard came from the Great Western Hospital in Swindon where he worked for eight-and-a-half years.

He started in his new role at Conquest at the end of November.

Dr Leonard, who trained in Newcastle, said, "My wife, who's a hand surgeon, got a job in Brighton so we moved down to the South East coast.

"I'm looking forward to my new role and furthering the development of respiratory medicine in the hospital, but first and foremost, I want to be a good doctor to my patients."
